Work Life Inc. (“Work Life,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Work Life website, waitlist, and 64 Bit Generator. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information through these services, including our hosted website at work-life-world.worklifefyi.chatgpt.site.
This policy covers the website and character preview experience. Additional services may have separate notices. For questions or requests, contact hello@worklife.fyi.
02Information we collect
- Information you provide: your email address, area of interest, communication preferences, and verification or consent records. When you contact us, we collect the name, topic, and message you submit.
- Email verification and cookies: we use your verified email and an essential, secure browser cookie to keep your character private. No ChatGPT account is required. Verification sessions expire after 10 minutes; verified browser sessions expire after 30 days.
- Photos and generated artwork: the photo you choose for a character preview, the resulting artwork, and records of your generation request, status, and service usage.
- Technical and security information: request times, verification attempts, hashed network identifiers used to limit abuse, and delivery status. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser details, and operational logs to deliver and protect the site.
Please avoid including sensitive or unnecessary information in photos or messages.
03How we use information
We use information to operate the website; verify your email; maintain the waitlist; send requested verification, welcome, and character notifications; respond to inquiries; provide character previews; prevent misuse; troubleshoot delivery and service errors; and meet applicable legal obligations.
We send launch updates with your consent. You can withdraw that consent by emailing hello@worklife.fyi. Verification and service messages relate to actions you request and are separate from launch updates.
04Photos and AI character previews
When generation is available, we send your selected photo to OpenAI only after you verify your email, consent to photo processing, and request a preview. OpenAI uses the photo and our style instructions to produce a character image.
The original photo is processed for the request and is not saved in this website’s file storage. This does not mean that our AI provider retains no data: its processing, security logging, and retention are subject to its applicable API terms and data policies.
We save the generated artwork privately, along with generation and usage records. Retrieving the saved image requires verification of the associated email address. We do not automatically publish your photo or generated character.
07Retention and security
Waitlist records, contact inquiries, and generated artwork remain stored to provide the requested services until a removal request is handled or they are no longer needed. Retention depends on the purpose, ongoing service needs, abuse prevention, and applicable legal requirements. We may retain limited records where needed to honor opt-outs, resolve disputes, or comply with law.
Verification codes expire after 10 minutes. The site stores code hashes rather than plain-text codes, and older verification records are cleaned up as further verification requests are processed. An expired code does not mean every related security record is immediately deleted.
We use access controls and private file storage to protect saved artwork. No service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ.
08Your choices and requests
Email hello@worklife.fyi to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, to remove your waitlist entry or character preview, or to stop launch updates. You can also use the contact form and choose “Privacy request.” Tell us which service and email address your request concerns; do not send a password or verification code.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to receive a copy of your data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information before acting. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not penalize you for exercising a protected privacy right.
You can choose not to provide a photo or join the waitlist. Features that depend on that information may then be unavailable. Deleting information here does not remove copies that you shared with others.
09Children’s privacy
These services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact hello@worklife.fyi so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate. Additional local age restrictions may apply.
10Policy updates and contact
